Between two trains, at 3 pm they still accepted us with a limited-use card, but we thanked them for it. The Caesar salad was truly delicious.

Not a bad place near the train station, has indoor and outdoor spaces. We stopped for a simple breakfast which was nice and reasonable priced. On way back we stopped for drinks and asked for a bowl of chips (🍟) . The service was a bit slow on both occasions. The main man was busy but not what it seems to be anybody else. I would say a good place to wait for your train if you have a long wait 30min +.

We ate there on the day of the Tour de France, I had a very hearty and tasty summer salad and my husband had a really tender piece of beef, we will be back.

A Sunday lunchtime meal, a generous daily menu, and a KF dessert for €14.50 – you're a champion in terms of quality, service, and ambiance. Thank you, I highly recommend it.

Had lunch here before our boat trip on the Canal du Midi. The restaurant is the oldest in France apparently. Offers classic dishes - the mussels were plentiful. Only one of our meals didn't make the mark, the spaghetti bolognese which was tasteless and looked anaemic. We had the two course set menu. Good value for money.

I came with 46 people and had nothing to complain about except excellent food, fast service, attentive and welcoming staff, and a superb setting. Luxury chauffeur in Giron

Don't miss this! Traditional French food, including fish and seafood, in Art Deco hall with good bar and plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the fountain. Extremely good value for money, esp for Carcassonne. Wish we hadn't left till our last day

03/01/2026: I discovered this bakery/pastry shop quite by chance during my recent stay in Carcassonne, and I was very pleasantly surprised. Freshness, quality, price, service—everything is perfect. I highly recommend it.
18/12/2025: Very good, I had the "gourmet" sandwich, excellent service, superb price, I recommend it
