The welcome and service are excellent. They truly understand customer service! They have a small private room available, and the manager is very accommodating and creative with ideas to suggest for different events. I organized my son's birthday party there with his friends, complete with a theme and workshops, and it was very well organized! I will definitely organize other events there.

I had dinner with a friend on Wednesday evening. We received a warm welcome and were given helpful information about the menu, which isn't huge, but that's definitely a good thing... The food was good, both in quality and quantity, and the music was great too. In short, a good place to remember, especially if you live only 150 meters away! 😅🤗

I went there last year, and we were all disappointed. There were four of us, and since we were neighbors, I didn't go back. I went back today, and the welcome was fantastic, the food was great, including the desserts. Has there been a change in management? I recommend the fish carpaccio and the lime cheesecake.

A very nice little restaurant in a lovely location, the food is good… I'm deducting one star for value for money. €45 for two daily specials and two Cokes is a tad too high.

Good meat, perfectly cooked, generous portion of fries, fresh and plentiful dessert. The only downside was the manager's lack of respect; he addressed me as "thank you, young man" when I'm 73 years old.

08/08/2026: A true GEM!!! What a wonderful surprise to have walked through the door of this establishment... Without a care in the world, in a simple yet delightful setting, we enjoyed a delightful array of small tasting plates, as delicious as they were beautiful! 29/07/2026: It's very good, no complaints. However, one lunchtime, for a set menu, the extra charge for a specific dish was not explained at all clearly. Of course, it was good, but the way it was presented was as if it were the price of the entire menu. In the end, it cost €190 for two people without wine for a "business" lunch, which wasn't planned at that level of expense. I would have thought it more appropriate to clearly state the total price of the menu when we ordered. Thank you

31/08/2026: We weren't able to get the tender flank steak and unlimited fries for only €13.90. It feels like false advertising. The online reservation had been accepted, however, upon arriving at the restaurant, the waitress explained that she had accepted our reservation for the flank steak, but that they didn't actually serve it. We had to choose something else, and we didn't receive a word of apology, nothing at all! We could have had unlimited fries, but no, that would have been a gesture of goodwill towards the customers. I'm disappointed by this way of operating at Hippopotamus.
30/08/2026: The food was excellent, the service impeccable, very satisfied.
