No complaints about the service, the staff, or the food – it's good. Just one drawback: the music inside is far too loud. As a result, people talk very loudly, even though the Bistrot Régent attracts a very diverse clientele of all ages. This excessive noise eventually creates a tiring din, making it feel like a school cafeteria, which is a shame.

Very pleasant and responsive staff. Standard but reliable menu and a splendid terrace. Excellent location. A sure bet for affordable brasserie-style dining.

Restaurant with a large dining room and terrace, very well located in Talence. Excellent value for money for a steak with fries and unlimited salad for under €17. Clément, the manager, does everything he can to welcome the many customers despite being short-staffed, demonstrating enthusiasm and professionalism. We highly recommend it.

The food quality is very good... but above all, there's the possibility of getting a free half-bottle of De Castellane Champagne for 2, 5 nights a week (voucher to print from the Bistrô Régent website).

Just another Bistrot Régent. The food is consistent with the chain's standards. The service was pleasant and quick despite the crowds, and the terrace was quite nice.

Le Bistro Regent

21/09/2026: Fast service but not very well cooked. A shame, but I would definitely come back...

Brasserie le Carpe diem

12/09/2026: A very warm welcome and a hearty and delicious lunch.
18/08/2026: A place we absolutely love! 😊 Carpediem is first and foremost a place where you truly feel at home. Benoît and Manue are delightful: always smiling, warm, attentive, and caring. You're welcomed with simplicity and good humor, and that makes all the difference. As for the food, it's also impeccable: delicious, generous portions, and a real treat every time. In short, a fantastic place, a friendly atmosphere, and above all, two owners who give the place a real soul. We come here with pleasure and return even more willingly! I highly recommend it.
