Luckily, we didn't let the reviews deter us; it would have been a shame to miss out on a delicious mixed salad (a welcome change from Caesars and the like!) and a wonderful plum tart. The staff gave us a very warm welcome; they didn't have a children's menu but offered us a perfectly reasonable alternative.

I wanted to form my own opinion, otherwise, judging by some of the comments, I wouldn't have gone 😅 Well, I recommend it. We had a very good meal. Quick service, very welcoming staff, good value for money, location... and a delicious blueberry and raspberry tart 😋

Absolutely delicious pizza and drinks. Friendly staff. The perfect place to stop to eat after wondering around in this beautiful place ❤️

I am writing this because the Google ratings weren't good. I happened to sit here while passing by, and the staff were all so friendly and spoke great English! They guided me to a great seat, and the view from the terrace is the best! It was the best moment of my time in Colmar.

Excellent tarte flambée gratiné, the cheese was incredibly good and the dough was perfect, not dry like in other restaurants. 👌

The food was very good, the staff friendly, and our large dog was welcome. A good place for a lunch break. The atmosphere was okay, nothing more. But the staff made an effort, speaking German and English, and were very nice.

20/08/2026: The place is beautiful, and the service was excellent. Everywhere you look there are vintage chocolate posters, and I was tempted; I thought, "They must know how to make good chocolate here." I ordered the Grand Chocolat Maison Viennoise, the house specialty, 92% cacao, the largest size, with cream... I was expecting something delicious, but instead I got a runny, sugary chocolate, nothing like good chocolate, and certainly none of the cocoa flavor of dark chocolate... like Nesquik... a disappointment. I don't recommend it. I should have just ordered a croissant like everyone else.
20/08/2026: I went there yesterday (Wednesday, August 19th) with a friend. Charming old-fashioned French-style café. I'd gladly go back!
