Jupiler Cafe sur Colmar

Very friendly staff and good quality food!

We settled down on this terrace during the heatwave. It wasn't super busy, but the chairs looked comfortable, and the parasols were huge, meaning we could really sit in the shade. We were served kindly by a lady. We were thirsty because of the heat, and luckily the drinks arrived super fast. After that, we ordered food. And that was truly delicious! We enjoyed it so much. During dinner, a bit of panic broke out because a downburst/tornado suddenly swept through the street. Things were flying through the air. The waitress came outside immediately, took action, and even secured our food. We were able to take a seat inside. Her actions really created a sense of safety. When paying, we left a generous tip because this lady absolutely deserved it. A true power woman!

If you have a choice I would visit one of the other cafes in the neighborhood instead. The service was slow, so I had to wait a long time to get my food and especially afterwards to pay, even after telling them I'd like to pay multiple times. The waiters seemed to ignore me while they were busy serving other people. Did not feel very welcomming. The ice cream is good though but nothing special.

Truly inconsistent: several times I decided against going because of the unfriendly welcome, and my only visit to their terrace was out of desperation. I finally went one Sunday evening because the dining room was quiet and I needed to work. I was pleasantly surprised: an original and flavorful cocktail, a generous and tasty main course, quick service, and a pleasant, friendly (and slightly older) waitress who was attentive to my feedback. The prices are typical of Colmar, let's say. I really felt like I was in that little neighborhood brasserie you love to go to. I'll go back to confirm this impression and give it the final star.

A brasserie where it's lovely to grab a table on the large summer terrace. The cuisine is excellent and varied. Aurélien, the very friendly waiter, serves you with kindness, warmth, and good humor, knowing that it must have been a long and tiring Pentecost Sunday, judging by the crowds that evening. Thank you to him, and have a wonderful season!

Excellent sauerkraut, top-notch service, pleasant atmosphere. It's a welcome change from all those pseudo-restaurants with their burgers and pizzas. Thanks to the team (kitchen and front of house).

While visiting Alsace for a family holiday, we dined every evening for five days at Café Jupiler in Colmar, enjoying a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All the ingredients were there for a wonderful experience: the staff were incredibly attentive and provided top-quality service, always with a smile and good humor. The menu was varied, and the dishes were delicious and generous. An unforgettable experience that added to our fond memories of Alsace. This establishment is more than worth a visit. We will gladly return without hesitation.
