Le Bistrot Basque sur Lisieux

Is the restaurant still open? We came last summer and loved it. We wanted to come back at the beginning of September, then again on the evening of the Christmas openings, and finally tonight, mid-January. Each time, we found the doors closed, despite having seen online that the restaurant was open. We hope we were just unlucky and can come back soon.

The pizzas are excellent and are made in a wood-fired oven.

Excellent lunch for two. Fast and efficient service despite the restaurant being full. Reasonable prices, and enough for a "standard" appetite (not enough for my husband 😅). But that leaves room for a homemade dessert, which I personally found to be an excellent crumble! All the staff members were very kind, from the moment they greeted us to the moment we paid. Thank you!

We came without a reservation and were surprised. The welcome was very warm and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much!
