Le Bistrot D'auguste sur Lyon

I came for lunch today with my colleagues. My opinion is rather mixed. The service was okay, but not great. One of the two waitresses seemed to have preferred to be doing something else rather than serving customers, and wasn't very friendly or smiling. As for my meal (the burger), it was good, but for €20, a little salad would have been appreciated, and especially the bread could have been cooked more evenly (both burgers served at our table were completely burnt!). With only an hour for lunch, we didn't have time to send our food back. I did mention it when paying, and the person seemed genuinely embarrassed for me and apologized, which is a good sign. In short, the place is nice, the terrace too, but I won't be back!

A great bistro with fast service, and the food we tried was delicious. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The setting is pleasant with its bright colors and quotes from literary giants. Its proximity to the hotel was a deciding factor, and we have no regrets!

Florian and his team gave us a very warm welcome; our meals were delicious. The value for money is excellent 👌

I wanted to thank you for the warm welcome we received last night at our volunteers' get-together. We particularly appreciated the quality of the entertainment, especially the presentations, which were a hit with everyone. All the volunteers were delighted to be there: the atmosphere was excellent and the event was a real success. A big thank you to Mr. Valmy and his team for your professionalism and availability.
