Le Bistrot D'auguste sur Lyon

We had a wonderful time at Bistrot Auguste! The meal was delicious, a big thank you to the waitstaff and to the chefs Rose and Hervé!

We had a wonderful time there; the grilled cuttlefish was delicious! And the staff were lovely.

One of the best burger and fries I’ve had in years! Excellent service as well. Chef even came by to offer some special spicy garlic sauce for the fries. Fantastic! Also their creme caramel was sooo good. If you ever find yourself in Lyon this is a must stop!

A relaxing dinner, very good daily special, I'll definitely be back!

I came for lunch today with my colleagues. My opinion is rather mixed. The service was okay, but not great. One of the two waitresses seemed to have preferred to be doing something else rather than serving customers, and wasn't very friendly or smiling. As for my meal (the burger), it was good, but for €20, a little salad would have been appreciated, and especially the bread could have been cooked more evenly (both burgers served at our table were completely burnt!). With only an hour for lunch, we didn't have time to send our food back. I did mention it when paying, and the person seemed genuinely embarrassed for me and apologized, which is a good sign. In short, the place is nice, the terrace too, but I won't be back!
