Excellent time spent with family in this little old-fashioned bistro as we like them. Intimate and pleasant atmosphere, several small rooms, alcoves and patio/terrace. Careful decoration which fits perfectly with the beauty of the place.
Efficient and friendly service.
In terms of dishes offered, there is a choice (salads, burgers, mussels on certain days, more traditional dishes, etc.) and this at very reasonable prices.
We always have a great time at the Bistrot in the most beautiful street in Bernay.
Typical Norman listed house with excellent and generous local dishes adapted to all budgets and tastes. Unavoidable. Thank you to the professional and smiling team. See you soon
I've visited the Bistrot on a number of occasions, each time with a group of around 20 on our way to Le Mans and am always impressed by the ease with which we are accommodated - we never book in advance! Staff speak good English, menu is varied enough to suit us all and costs are reasonable. The hardcore amongst us stay behind for a brandy or two! If you're ploughing south through France and looking for an overnight stopover Bernay is ideal and the Bistrot is well worth a visit.
