We simply enjoyed it. Mussels, fries, hearty and delicious plates. We had Amaury as a waiter, who was very pleasant, smiling and with whom we joked a little. In short I recommend.

Passing through Saint Malo it is hard to make a choice among all these restaurants, pubs or other bistros which are located on the site at the ramparts, without counting on a pretty blonde waitress who hooks you up in the street to put you at a table. table WITHOUT REGRET Thank you very much, it was delicious and I have rarely eaten so well. The service is fast and the quality is really there, BRAVO In addition to that, the restaurant is dog friendly. Canine Hikers (Facebook, Instagram, tic toc)

So glad to have found this delightful bistro with great seafood and shellfish, steak, crepes and wonderful service. We had a large bowl of mussels and a steak and each was well-prepared. The service is very friendly and very prompt. This is a great place to have a very informal meal among friends or new friends. Thank you for a nice evening.

Friendly welcome and service. Original setting 👍 Background music, just what I like, Breton music and Renaud 👏 I recommend the Cocotte Malouine with a glass of Chardonnay.

Excellent evening at the Pirate, very well served menu with local products, very fresh oysters 🦪, scallops generously served and cooked to perfection, very pleasant service, everything was delicious and impeccable! I recommend!

Plutôt une bonne adresse les portions sont généreuses un peu cher mais situation idéale à côté des remparts. Seul bémol les cocktails sont très chers

19/01/2026: A very nice restaurant. The number of courses is limited to 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts on a daily changing menu, which is always a very good sign.
17/01/2026: Absolutely delicious! From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was wonderful. A relaxed atmosphere, an extensive wine list. We had a perfect dinner. Be sure to book ahead; we were lucky to get an empty table on a Friday night, but they only have a limited number of seats.

Le Globe Trotter

02/10/2025: Lovely food, dog friendly inside, and our waiter was so friendly and helpful bringing water for the pooch, cleaning it all up after she spilled it all over the floor, and was just an all round great person. No view of the bay but all restaurants on the front were packed, and we much preferred the quieter experience here. Will most definitely be going back.
