Excellent service, and where my French isn't up to par, the waiter helps with his English! Definitely not a given in France. Delicious food and a menu just the way I like it, reasonably priced with top-notch flavor. Perfect. I'm not a fan of anything too fancy, but I prefer a convivial place away from the touristy, and that was Bistrot de la Place for me. Thank you 🫶🏻

A very warm welcome. A varied and delicious menu; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Very reasonable value for money. A very pleasant waiter. The owner was truly very friendly. We had a lovely evening. A bistro we highly recommend. We will gladly return if we have the opportunity to come back to Versailles.

A wonderful experience at Bistrot de la Place! The dishes were absolutely delicious and very flavorful. We also greatly appreciated the warm welcome and excellent service. A big thank you to Amit, who was very kind, polite, and friendly throughout our meal. His warm welcome made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Bistrot de la Place and will gladly return! ❤️🇫🇷

Food is good and atmosphere is fine but sitting outside is at own risk because of all the wasps. There must a nest nearby and they should really tackle that

The pizza and calzone is large enough for two young women. The crust is AMAZING. While it is brick oven cooked, it isn’t like a cracker, it’s doughy. The prices are absolutely reasonable and the staff are very nice.

Un tres bon place! Deserves 6 stars. The owner is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and speaks English very well. Highly recommended and is quite evident from the amount of locals that frequent it. Merci beaucoup et au revoir 👋

A day at the Palace of Versailles! We discovered this little Parisian bistro where we had a wonderful meal, and thank you to Mohamed for his kindness and generosity in celebrating my dad's 60th birthday ❤️. All the best from the Dijon crew 😉

15/09/2026: Where to begin?... Delicious crepes, a very pleasant, subdued atmosphere, especially perfect for warm September evenings. A truly warm welcome, thanks in large part to the waiter Arthur... His charisma and his ability to carry up to seven plates at once make you want to order a starter, main course, dessert (and even a coffee for the truly adventurous)!!!
12/09/2026: I came with my friend, and we ate on the terrace. Great location, great food, but the service left much to be desired! It took forever to serve us, and on top of that, dessert didn't arrive at the same time! My friend was served before me and was waiting for me so we could eat together! I had to get up several times to get the water we had asked for. And there was no compensation offered for the inconvenience either.

17/09/2026: Excellent restaurant; the prices are very reasonable considering the quantity and quality. The menu is simple but very effective, and the dishes are delicious and generously portioned. The service is top-notch. The staff, although quite busy due to the large number of customers, are very pleasant and professional. It's everything you could want in a good restaurant.
