Food is good and atmosphere is fine but sitting outside is at own risk because of all the wasps. There must a nest nearby and they should really tackle that

The pizza and calzone is large enough for two young women. The crust is AMAZING. While it is brick oven cooked, it isn’t like a cracker, it’s doughy. The prices are absolutely reasonable and the staff are very nice.

Un tres bon place! Deserves 6 stars. The owner is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and speaks English very well. Highly recommended and is quite evident from the amount of locals that frequent it. Merci beaucoup et au revoir 👋

A lovely moment during our weekend in Versailles. Homemade, the grilled salmon steak was a real treat! A simple but generous meal. Highly recommended.

The servers were incredibly kind! We were served even though the kitchen was closed. A generous menu! A bistro that evokes the spirit of an authentic village, far from the hustle and bustle.

After a long hot drive from England, we arrived at the hotel and went to Bistrot de la Place. Great food, really kind staff, great service and really good value for 4.

27/05/2026: My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Versailles. Immediately upon entry, the staff let us know “No Anglaise”. Despite that, she was so incredibly helpful and even brought out a book to show us what fish were on the menu. It was the most incredible meal of our entire trip to France and she had the cutest pup behind the counter. We will be learning more French and going back!! Don’t be discouraged by the language barrier, just be ready to have the best scallops of your life.

25/04/2026: Thanks again for the éclairs...very good. The macarons are delicious...and the saleswoman is lovely and clearly enjoys her customers.
