The atmosphere was very pleasant. The food transported us to a magical tasting experience.

A very enjoyable time with my son. The staff was very funny and didn't show any stress despite the crowds inside, on the terrace, and the covered terrace. The decor was really nice.
The children's meal was the perfect size, and the fish and chips was very good. As for me, I had the set menu (starter/main/dessert) and wasn't disappointed at all, especially the lemongrass salmon papillote—simple and very well prepared.

We were with friends who didn't know each other at all at Bistrot de Mémé, and they absolutely loved the atmosphere and quirky vibe... The food is still excellent, delicious, and above all, generous!
The waiters and waitresses are lovely... I highly recommend this place, which I particularly love 💕💕

Good place, I recommend it.
Good, simple but well-prepared, efficient, and reasonably priced.
Pleasant, quiet terrace with a beautiful view of the port.
The only downside is the service.
In trying to be relaxed and have a good atmosphere, some servers are sometimes a bit pushy and intrusive. This can get a little annoying after a while.

A very original restaurant where the informal "tu" form of address puts you at ease; you feel like you're part of the family. A very warm welcome and a very friendly team.
The food is excellent and beautifully presented, the "pot de chambre" (a small glass of wine served with a light aperitif) was very good, and the gourmet coffee was delicious.
The restaurant was recommended to us by friends who were visiting on holiday, and we will definitely return as we often come to La Rochelle. I highly recommend it.
