We went for lunch as a couple. My meal was good: a savory crepe with Maroilles cheese and a caramel crepe, simple but decent. My partner, however, was very disappointed. The fish of the day was bland, a small portion, and the sauce had no flavor. For a €21 dish, it left us wanting more. The waitress was very friendly and professional, which wasn't the case for all the staff. A verbal altercation broke out between a waitress and the kitchen staff, which somewhat dampened the atmosphere of the meal. In short, it was okay, nothing special, and a bit pricey for the simplicity of the dishes.

Despite a few negative reviews and a Wonderbox voucher, we were very satisfied with our meal at the Bistrot de Saint Val'....
We were able to order whatever we wanted, even with our Wonderbox voucher, and add more if needed.
Aperitif, main course (andouillette gratin with Maroilles sauce, fries), dessert (two scoops of ice cream and floating island), 25 cl of wine, and a coffee.
€80 for two

We went there the first weekend of February. The food was pretty good overall, despite one frozen crepe. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. The desserts were on the house, and we're still grateful to the waitress for that gesture <3
