A place where small dishes are put in big. Quality service and it would be a lie to say that we didn't finish our plates. Everything was very good but to justify the lack of a star I must say that I have known cuisines which transported me more for a similar quality-price ratio or even lower. This may just be a matter of taste, so make no mistake! We salute the quality of the service, the gentleman who accompanied us during the meal knows his job and masters it with elegance and know-how. Thank you for this experience. We left with full bellies!

Amazing experience with perfect service. We tasted a divinely good bull rib with succulent accompaniments! The recommended red wine was perfect with this red meat! Big plus, they accept dogs! In a word perfect! THANKS

We came for the first time on Friday lunchtime, impeccable service (special mention to the young Savoyard) top notch cuisine. We booked to return on Sunday evening, the table allocated to us was between the road and the sidewalk, we preferred to leave the premises to dine elsewhere because the other tables were also apparently reserved. Surprise we had dinner right opposite on the terrace and the table was never used… too bad..

29/08/2024: What a great and delicious experience! We first visited Xavier at Xa in 1990, then again in 1994 on our honeymoon. We were already fascinated by this beautiful restaurant with a retro look, the personal welcome from Xavier and the cooking skills of his wife Martine. Over 30 years later we visited the Xa again on the occasion of our 30th wedding anniversary on a trip to Provence. Unfortunately we learned that Xavier had passed away. However, the restaurant has remained unchanged and Martine is still conjuring up her very tasty menus in the kitchen! We were warmly welcomed and served by Melanie, Xavier and Martine's daughter. A wonderful, unforgettable evening, with excellent food and wine, in the middle of St-Rémy, with many memories. Merci Martine and Melanie, we'll be back!
30/07/2024: Un mot ? DÉLICIEUX ! C’est une cuisine de grand talent tout simplement délicieux ! Un accueil simple et vraiment sympathique, pas de gentillesse étudiée non ! De la sincérité ! De l’accueil à l’assiette on est dans un endroit d’exception. Allez y !

02/09/2024: Reservatie gedaan 3 weken geleden, vonden ze niet terug, maar toch nog plaats Eten was er op 15 min Lekkere steak, friet en salade Was ok maar niet meer dan dat, wel vriendelijke bediening, lekkere wijn
22/08/2024: La Maison du Boeuf was recommended by our hotel (VV) and that recommendation did not let us down. Salad, steak, wine - all done as ordered and delicious. The prices are also reasonable for what you get - non-aged steaks come in around €30 and you easily find wine for less than that per bottle. The staff were also very friendly, flexible and really tried to ensure the best experience possible. So St Remy and La Maison du Boeuf - thank you, we'll see you again.
