Summary: Adorable little hotel where you MUST eat at the restaurant. ---------- The hotel is a very cute little home, tucked away just off the main street of St. Remy (itself an adorable little town). We had no complaints about the hotel, but what truly sets this place apart from others is the RESTAURANT: The restaurant is 2 Michelin stars, but was better than most (if not all) 3 stars we have eaten at. The location is cozy and adorable, with a homey atmosphere and staff that truly seem to love their job. We arrived with no reservation and none available online, but they managed to squeeze us in on very short notice. The food itself was some of the best food we have had at a Michelin starred restaurant. The meal was wonderfully light, without skimping at all on flavor -- every dish celebrated local produce, with fruits and vegetables sourced locally in Provence. Lastly, the owner is wonderfully kind. Upon leaving I told him how much we loved the strawberry based dessert, and he sent us off with a free box of strawberries for the road. The next time we are in Provence, we would love to stay again.

Refined and exceptional cuisine. The chef forages for all sorts of aromatic herbs and spices in the local flora. We were captivated by the décor, the menu, and the wines we tasted. The service is very warm and welcoming, not at all stuffy. You feel genuinely appreciated. Every detail is meticulously attended to, from the tableware and décor to, of course, the dishes and desserts.

It was my first time … My first experience in a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, and the flavors were incredible! The staff were so kind and attentive, accommodating my every need. A couple of chefs who were available and approachable. They made me feel comfortable, were present, and listened to my every need.

We had a dream stay with a welcome that was both professional and warm. The couple, Fanny and Jonathan, are a perfect match, much like their cuisine: inventive, briny, and vegetable-focused, with just the right amount of animal products (sardines and pink squab, in particular). A perfectly balanced menu that leaves you feeling light despite the number of courses. The two Michelin stars are richly deserved! We will be back, and I highly recommend it!

Bar Tabac des Alpilles

09/09/2026: It's a bar and tobacconist, but above all, it's a very good brasserie with excellent food. The leg of lamb is superb, but you'll also want to try the other daily specials and won't be disappointed. Special mention goes to the professionalism of the service, which is very efficient and manages the lunchtime rush on market day perfectly.
07/09/2026: This is a fabulous restaurant with fabulous food. I cannot understand why some of the reviews state that the owners/waiters were rude, this is not the case at all so ignore it we went twice and they were lovely, including the young lady waitress who really looked after us. There are only 3 of them, they don’t dilly dally, they are quick, efficient and hard working if some think this is rude well they do not deserve to eat there. My husband had the lamb signature dish both times and he said it was the best meal he had had in St Remy. I had the sea-bream and they did me some dauphinois potatoes too, delicious. We had the prawns to start and the mayonnaise eggs both fresh and delicious and the signature desert is to die for, the île flottante (floating island) you just have to have it is amazing my husband had the meringue and fresh berries which also said was amazing. Please don’t read the reviews and be put off, I nearly was but every night we walked by it was busy we were so glad we ignored the reviews. We had lots of wine too which was always ice cold and delicious. You have to go here you will not be disappointed. We will certainly go back when we visit St Remy again. Rose

26/09/2026: Cozy terrace on the main road. So there's always something to see 😂 and that's nice when you have to wait a long time for service.
10/09/2026: We stopped by on a whim for a quick dinner and what a pleasant surprise! We ate very well (the roasted goat cheese with new potatoes was delicious... always listen to the waiter 😉) and the service was really friendly. A small glass of genepi to finish off the evening. A welcoming place where the food is great.
