A lovely restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Family run. Fast and friendly service. Top cuisine with good products cooked with taste and passion. I enjoyed myself. Wine list with lots of organic and natural choices. It is not at the seaside but in a pretty little alley in the center. A “to do” if you pass through La Rochelle.

Bien accueilli (chien accepté sans difficulté). Le Restaurant est joliment décoré et possède un beau patio extérieur (que nous n’avons pas pu profiter car tout les tables étaient réservées). Nous avons bien mangé : le plat principal, viande blanche (pintade de mémoire) avec un riz aux saveurs japonaises nous a parfaitement convenus, c’était vraiment très bon. Dessert : « barre snicker » (qui n’est pas glacée pour le coup) très bonne également mais un peu difficile de découper le gâteau car le milieu était très dur. Autre dessert à base d’ananas rôtis simple mais bons. En résumé c’était très bon et le restaurant est très agréable.

Everything is good in this restaurant. The location in the heart of La Rochelle, the decoration with this superb patio / terrace, the attentive waitresses, and the menu, both original and refined. Thank you for this beautiful moment of conviviality and delicacy

Wonderful hospitality the owner and front of house staff speak perfect English and the menu is Also in English also to add the restaurant is under new ownership and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome had oysters to start then had the monkfish with a light curry sauce then the Guinefowl with rice and a light sauce and to complete one’s meal had a nice dry bottle of muscadet will return for sure

31/08/2024: Excellent accueil. Service au top 👌🏻 Toujours agréable. Belle terrasse sur la place. Cuisine maison avec des tarifs très abordables
18/08/2024: When we visited a full menu was displayed but only pizzas available. Not clear why. The pizzas were cooked one at a time, so service took a while, but they were very fresh. Decent range of flavours, tasty and generous. Popular venue. Service was fine though the waiter was struggling as to how to do particulars and would probably benefit from further training.
