We had a wonderfully prepared and plentiful French dinner. The duck was perfectly cooked and the lamb stew was delicious. Even the simple mashed potatoes were delicious. Two of us showed up with a dog without a reservation, but they quickly found us a seat inside. We ordered skate with cheese sauce and potato, and tagliatelle with escalope.
The skate was very tender, even though there were a few bits of cartilage left. The cheese sauce didn't pair well with the skate, but it was good and paired well with the potato. The escalope sauce was also good and creamy. Reasonable price for two full dishes.

The starters were excellent, including fish and herring soup, and the desserts were superb, with a special mention for the rum baba. However, I was disappointed by the main courses: the grilled sea bass was served as a simple fillet with an extra-charged side dish, and the Dieppe-style stew consisted mainly of potatoes. Also, be aware that the mussels in the stew weren't listed on the menu, so be careful if you have allergies. In short, add to that the very slow service. A mixed experience.

Excellent find. A huge selection, yet exceptional quality.
The foie gras was sublime, the fish soup excellent, and the lamb shank to die for.
The service was very pleasant.

We were already familiar with the restaurant's good reputation. Now we know why. A varied menu, generous portions, fresh ingredients. A great place to eat.
