This restaurant was open on Monday, one of the few in Le Havre that was. It got very busy once it seemed like the locals were coming in for their lunch break. Mostly French is spoken here. Little English was spoken by the staff. The food was very good. Our favorite dishes were the cutlet and the chocolate mousse. But all of our meals were very good.

I do it quickly: a basic starter, mayo eggs and a little charcuterie, flank steak with Neuchatel sauce and mashed potatoes with a glass of Côte du Rhone. Dessert ? Pineapple carpaccio and its lime-glazed ball. The address? The bistro des halles, in Le Havre. An address that you need to go there and quickly.
