I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which may look small from the outside, but boasts a superb mezzanine and charming decor! The waiter was very kind and responsive, and the food was truly excellent! The portions were perfectly sized; we enjoyed our meal without overeating.

12/02/2026: No complaints about the food or the value for money. It was very good. A minor drawback was the service; it was rather slow to take our order, but the staff were kind and friendly throughout lunch!

Le Salon de The Valmont

10/01/2026: Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices (compared to other restaurants in Dax that are really overpriced). Varied and high-quality dishes, local cuisine, fast service. The gourmet coffee is especially exceptional 👍
27/12/2025: Leaving Les Halles, a little disappointed by the friendliness of the shopkeepers, we wandered through the side streets and stumbled upon "Le Valmont," a very nice place with pleasant, laid-back staff. The portions were generous and the service was quick. We had a very good meal.
