I absolutely loved everything! 💃 The staff's kindness and smiles, the service and the friendly waitress, the atmosphere, the setting, and also the excellent food. The curry mussels and fries were to die for! 🤗

Never disappointed with this establishment. The staff is incredibly attentive. The terrace was nearly empty this evening, with a lovely, gentle breeze. We enjoyed a cocktail, a generous and delicious Landes salad, and shared profiteroles! A delightful evening. I highly recommend it.

Despite the intense heat, we decided to have dinner.
The food was as good as ever, and the service impeccable.
Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning inside, so we dined outside. The heat was stifling; misting systems would be a welcome addition to consider for future years, to make the experience more pleasant.
We will gladly return, but we'll wait for cooler days.

Upon arrival, the restaurant looks small with a crowded parking lot. Indeed, it's the old Saint-Médard train station (you probably guessed it from the name!). After a short wait, we were shown to a large outdoor terrace at the back. The place has been beautifully renovated. The service is quick and efficient.
Most of the dishes are priced in line with what you'd find in other nearby restaurants. There are no set menus, just à la carte options. The photos show the goat cheese and walnut samosas, vegetarian mushroom risotto, and Landes salad. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual meal; the portions are generous, and it's a great find! We'll gladly return :)

The terrace was very pleasant, and the service was friendly and quick. That's undoubtedly what will make us want to come back.
However, the price-quality ratio is exaggerated: the burger was good but standard and not particularly generous... 22 euros for St. Médard is a bit too expensive.
The salad and carpaccio aren't really prepared dishes... so it's difficult to give a definitive opinion. We'll have to see what other dishes they offer.

From the welcome to the service, and of course, the food itself, it's always absolutely flawless. This warm and inviting place offers a varied menu of dishes made with fresh, local, high-quality, and seasonal ingredients. In winter, the cozy and inviting interior is perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner break, while in warmer weather, the huge shaded terrace becomes a true haven of peace.
