12/07/2026: A nightmare. I spent four days cycling hungry. I was so hungry I can't even describe it. I was rushing to the finish line. But I decided to stop at this diner (there's no other word for it) to celebrate the end of my event. The maps said it was open until 10:30 PM. I went in at 9:20 PM. The owner, it was him. He simply refused me dinner. He didn't even listen. He just kicked me out. When I asked why, he said, "Everyone leaves my restaurant at 9:30 PM." He opened the door for me and sent me away. There's a pizzeria across the street, and the owner is making me spaghetti. And I'm sitting there, looking at the windows of this diner. The lights are on, not a single person has come out. It's 9:50 PM. And I want to smear that spaghetti all over the glass of the "restaurant." Yes, I'm angry. But I'm hungrier. So I'll eat the spaghetti. And I don't recommend anyone go to this diner. The owner is rude. He lived to be 60, and this is the first time I've been kicked out of a restaurant. I read other customers' reviews. I read the owner's response. I think I'll take his advice: I'll never come back to his place again. Especially since there's nothing to eat there except fries and bread. But the pasta at the pizzeria across the street is simply divine. And the owner is friendly and well-mannered.

01/07/2026: Upon arrival, the restaurant looks small with a crowded parking lot. Indeed, it's the old Saint-Médard train station (you probably guessed it from the name!). After a short wait, we were shown to a large outdoor terrace at the back. The place has been beautifully renovated. The service is quick and efficient. Most of the dishes are priced in line with what you'd find in other nearby restaurants. There are no set menus, just à la carte options. The photos show the goat cheese and walnut samosas, vegetarian mushroom risotto, and Landes salad. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual meal; the portions are generous, and it's a great find! We'll gladly return :)
