The experience was pleasant overall in this small Montpellier square, a lovely spot to enjoy some small dishes paired with good wines. The tapas portions are relatively small, but never mind. The waitress who served us was very friendly and offered helpful advice... and here comes the BUT... what could have been a pleasant evening ended with the manager's (?) rather unpleasant behavior at the time of payment... clearly tired of dealing with tourists dining in his establishment... we concluded that it wasn't the right time... probably too early or too late ;)

Home-style cooking with fresh ingredients, which is much appreciated. A warm welcome, a small but lovely local wine list, all located on the very pretty Place de la Chapelle Neuve.

Excellent burger. Delicious caponata octopus and mashed potatoes. I'll have to come back to try the "crying tiger"!
The wine list is also a plus, since the restaurant also has a wine bar. I personally tried the Terrasses du Larzac, which I highly recommend!

The staff were very pleasant and apathetic... I arrived too late to eat, but thanks to them they offered me an alternative. So I ate at another restaurant in the same location, which was also very pleasant, unfortunately I can't remember the name. Anyway, I'll eat there again soon and I know I won't regret it... kudos to both restaurants! I highly recommend them!

A magical evening under the trees!
We had a wonderful dinner here with friends! The outdoor seating is absolute perfection, set in a lovely, quiet square under the trees with charming string lights creating the ideal atmosphere for an evening out.
The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The menu has a fantastic variety with something for everyone: from delicious tapas and fresh salads to fantastic entrées featuring local seafood, finishing with wonderfully delicate desserts.
Worth trying!
Tip: Weekend evening seating tends to fill up quickly. It is recommended to reserve your table.
