Le bistrot gourmand sur Limoges

I loved discovering this restaurant, which I hadn't been to before, having just arrived in Limoges... The setting is very pretty, a mix of bistro and industrial styles... The welcome and service were truly perfect! The menu is varied, catering to all tastes and dietary needs... The dishes I ordered were delicious... With a special mention for the Maxi tartare, which was exceptionally fresh and prepared right in front of you! The cocktails were excellent, though not very large... The main reception and bar area is very pleasant... The 7 pm opening time allows those who appreciate peace and quiet to enjoy a cozy and intimate atmosphere... The influx of customers around 8 pm breaks this peaceful silence, and the room quickly becomes noisy... I plan to return very soon, but at the opening of the restaurant at 7 pm! I still have quite a few dishes to try! The quality-price ratio is very reasonable.

A very nice romantic evening: foie gras tapas as a starter followed by a veal escalope with cream sauce.

Very friendly bistro, no wait. We had a very good meal, cooked exactly as requested. Generous and tasty. I recommend it. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We will gladly return.

The "Bistrot Gourmand" is still as good as ever, it had been over 25 years since I'd been there, I wasn't disappointed ❤️

Popular restaurant. Typically French and French dishes. Good food. It is busy though, so it's better to reserve. Highly recommended!!

After two visits, both Saturday lunchtimes, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The service is very professional, welcoming, cheerful, smiling, and quick. The food is plentiful and excellent in my opinion. The price reflects the overall quality, affordable for all budgets. Don't change a thing. I highly recommend it.

Still as good as ever, with fast service and a warm welcome. It's always a pleasure to come here. I particularly appreciate the forest-style pasta, which is flavorful and well-prepared and remains one of my favorite choices.
