Le Bistrot Gourmand sur Epinal

A real find!! My friends and I had a fantastic meal. For a set menu at only 24 euros, we were thrilled. I highly recommend it!!

We received a very warm welcome; the owner is incredibly friendly and energetic, and kept us entertained while we waited. The food was delicious, and the chef even came to chat with us. A lovely, family-run place.

Well... I may lack some objectivity on this one... I was on a little pilgrimage with regards to my own history... So was hit by a sense of nostalgia. That being said.. we were looking for a nice place for lunch and this place came out on top. Location was superb... And the food was really good! It's generally a good indicator when the place is always packed. Ok.. what made this place over the top was their cheesecake. I'm actually fanatical about cheesecake (being from NYC)... and am most of the time disappointed when trying them out in European restaurants...save... Save...save... For this place ! They got it right. I'd say go just for the cheesecake... But the whole meal was great. Thanks for the experience

A wonderful family discovery. We strive to eat balanced meals even when we're out and about (maximum vegetables, fresh, seasonal produce, etc.), and we truly found the perfect place. Not only were the dishes delicious (the best homemade fries I've ever eaten in a restaurant), but the service from the manager and her team was also extremely satisfying: they answered every question patiently and with a smile, despite the crowds, and I felt they wanted us to have a pleasant time... a success! We were with children, and the welcome was all the more attentive. The restrooms were also very clean and pleasant. The terrace is very relaxing, and we could stroll around it with the children (museum entrance nearby) while waiting for our dishes... The chef's arrival at the end of the meal was the final touch, making us say: Bravo! We hope to return soon and wish you every success.

Wonderful, we had the four-course menu. Excellent fois gras, top-notch fish and meat. The highlight was the mirabelle plum soufflé, fantastic!

The welcome is impeccable, with friendly, professional, and attentive waiters. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, which immediately puts you at ease. The food is a real treat: succulent dishes, prepared with fresh produce, revealing beautiful flavors. The cuisine is meticulous, creative, and perfectly executed. An excellent restaurant in Épinal, a must-try for a gourmet and refined experience.

Very good products, beautiful dishes, a very nice discovery. If the terrace is on the street, it's not too disturbing because there's little traffic, and it's only pedestrian.
