Nothing to complain about in terms of service. Staff available and pleasant. For a menu at 30 euros the quality is not there. The butcher's cut for two out of 3 people at my table was greasy and tough. We pointed this out and were told "we're not inside the meat". As for the rosé served hot (we were given ice cubes) it is not worthy of a restaurant that respects its customers. I won't go back there, that's for sure.

Testé ce midi en famille. Restaurant au bord de l'eau, je déconseille un peu la terasse car on est à côté d'une rue avec des voitures... et pour ne rien gâcher, la décoration intérieure est jolie. On a apprécié le service avec un serveur sympa, souriant et prévenant, c'est très appréciable. Côté nourriture, c'était copieux et bon. Si je devais donner un point faible à ce lieu (et qui explique le 4* et pas 5), c'est que c'est bon sans être excellent et que ça manque, souvent, d'originalité (même si, certains desserts, sont eux pour le coup, intelligemment revisités). Le menu à 29 euros est vraiment bien pour le prix. Bref, je recommande!

La bonne réputation de cet endroit est méritée . On y est accueilli avec le sourire. La carte est tentante et laisse deviner que c est endroit où l on cuisine vraiment. Produits frais, recettes régionales, vins locaux, nous y avons passé une délicieuse soirée.

11/12/2025: The hotel is well-located and easily accessible. Excellent value for money. The staff were very welcoming, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. I would kindly suggest to the chef that they remove the apple tart from the menu. The pastry was half-cooked and the apples were burnt, but they did offer a goodwill gesture at the checkout. Overall, a very positive experience. I recommend it for a short stay.

03/12/2025: Less than an hour before closing time, and with the place almost full, they found us a table and provided excellent service. They understand Basque and Spanish without any problem. We ordered the house special hot chocolate, which they prepare with a foam that must be a bit of whipped cream. They serve a small pitcher of extra hot chocolate to fill the cups, a small bowl of whipped cream, and a pitcher and glasses of water. Fantastic! But the best part was the flavor—not overly sweet, with that bitterness of pure cocoa. I really enjoyed it, and it didn't feel heavy like some other hot chocolates I usually have. A great choice! We also had Basque cake and some very good croissants. The place is iconic, not very big, but special. Good value for money ✔️ It's also a shop and sells a variety of the world's best cocoa beans in bars and by weight.
