Even without a reservation, we got a table on Saturday evening, and there was even a menu in English and an English-speaking server. The food arrived quickly, the prices were fair, and everything tasted excellent.

There was a major incident with a large piece of plastic in one of our plates. Our waitress came to apologize several times, as did other servers, but not the chef, even though it would have been more logical for him to do so! Aside from that, we ate very, very well.

The place is very pleasant, and Esteban is a waiter with excellent skills and a command of language that customers appreciate. The dishes are elaborate, and the homemade desserts are exquisite. Well done to the team.

Perfectly located at the heart of Le Havre in town hall square, the Bistrot parisien is the perfect French restaurant with local delicacies, and on top of that the service was excellent and friendly. We had not made a reservation but we went off-season and it was still questionable whether we would get a table, so I recommend making a reservation.

Great food and setting, however very disappointed with the waiter who made a mistake with the dishes on my menu and told me I tried to scam him when I pointed it out.

The owner is very welcoming and friendly; she takes good care of her customers, and her cooking is perfect because it's homemade. Well done!

01/04/2026: Good evening. I visited this place in April 2026. I ordered Black Lamb and fries: good, 5/5. Then, for dessert, I opted for a revisited pistachio éclair...inedible to say the least. I pointed out to the staff that there was, among other things, a hair, but they gave me a smug reply, although at least it was removed from the bill.
