Very friendly, good value for money, large quantity. Pleasant and pretty waitress (yes I'm taking risks if my wife sees this comment but it will attract people, don't thank me) who speaks English fluently. We were also treated to Franglais with many foreigners there are some enough to lose your Latin it made me smile. Beautiful clean establishment, great service!!! very professional

The prices are correct for a restaurant of this type, especially given its geographical location. The waitresses are very friendly and the complete fondue (cold meats, steamed potatoes and green salad) is truly exceptional. The waitress who took care of us recommended a wine that perfectly matched what we expected. The only downside will be the desserts which are good but not up to the standard of the rest of the meal. I will nevertheless keep good memories of it and recommend this restaurant to my loved ones.

I ate a fried mussel and I enjoyed it. As I was a little cold the waitress brought me an outdoor heater. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

A must-see restaurant in Chamonix, we go there every year, the salmon spaghetti and vegetarian pizza are excellent. However, the cleanliness of the room and the toilets is not yet there.

I gave 3 stars as we had 5 star and 1 star experiences here. For 3 nights in Aug 2024, we had great food and service, all 3 times sat inside. On our 4th night, we were ignored (we left 3 good tips previously). We tried to get the waitresses' attention but were ignored. Our order was taken after 28 mins (it was also the quietest evening we had been) after waiting another 20 mins for our drinks, which had not arrived, we just left. 2 other tables also left. We were seated outside. Perhaps it's an indoor / outdoor issue. It's such a shame as the food is good, but the service on the 4th night was atrocious.

25/02/2026: Superb hotel located in the center of Chamonix, opposite the pedestrian street. It also has a spa, a ski shop, and ski lockers. Thanks to the team, we had a wonderful stay!
23/02/2026: We had a fantastic stay at Le Prieuré; the hotel feels very homely and intimate, despite being able to accommodate quite a lot of guests. It has a lovely bar and lobby, the staff were all wonderful and unfailingly kind and helpful; the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. There's also a very good onsite ski shop, a fantastic heated ski and boot room with lots of lockers, and the location is very good too - it's an easy walk to the bus stops, train station, and lots of shops and restaurants, and even one of the cable cars, if you don't mind a short uphill hike. Oh, and there's a lovely spa too, with excellent facilities and treatments, though do be sure to reserve some slots when you arrive, as it does get booked up. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

02/02/2026: Lunch at 3:30 pm near the Montenvers exit. The waitress was very pleasant and friendly, the service was quick, and the dishes were simple but very good! (Cheeseburger and chicken wok). You can go there without hesitation, a place to remember! 👌🏻
