A small restaurant with wood-fired cooking that makes all the difference. 🔥 You can taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The owner and staff are truly lovely, smiling, and attentive. You can feel their genuine passion and desire to please their customers. We had a wonderful time, and it was also very good value for money. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return! 😊

Homemade fries and pork ribs cooked over a wood fire right in front of us. Excellent Flemish steak for dessert. The only slight drawback is that the only beer on tap is Leffe Blonde, and the good beer is only available in 75cl bottles.

We had prepared this meal at Boenewal for a group of 18 hikers, so we had tested it beforehand. It's a fantastic restaurant in the heart of the countryside. The food is excellent: grilled specialties cooked over a wood fire in the fireplace, but also a superb calf's head with brains and tongue, and a wonderful gribiche sauce. It's only served on the last two Fridays of the month. The service was impeccable, and we left in time for our afternoon hike. I had mentioned it upon arrival! The atmosphere is warm and typical of old-fashioned farmhouses! The owner is incredibly friendly and very accommodating...Bravo! Thank you, and we'll be back!

Nearly 30 euros for a tiny piece of steak is way too expensive. Plus, you only get a small jar of béarnaise sauce.

For my first time there, I really liked the meal. It was delicious. The only negative point I could say would be the wait for dessert. Overall, the service was perfect.

A quality cut of meat, very tender and perfectly cooked. However, I would have preferred a different sauce than the one offered (only Béarnaise). Salad and fries ✅ Too few dessert options; I didn't find anything I liked! Meat lovers, this place is for you.

This is a very pleasant restaurant. We are always made to feel very welcome. Whether by the fire or on the veranda, we always have a pleasant time in this restaurant, and we eat very well. It is friendly, relaxing, and warm.
