Fantastic place, no regrets about driving 100km to get here. We had a wonderful meal, complete with a personalized starter. And the owner even gave us a ray of sunshine! We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful discovery! A warm and inviting place with beautiful decor. We settled in, found a lovely menu with just the right amount of choice, and the service was excellent—quick but not rushed. The food was delicious. In short, a great place to discover, and what's more, the village of Herzeele is a Heritage Village, making it a lovely place for a post-meal stroll.

The owner (cook) and his wife are lovely, the rib steak is beyond reproach, the fries are cooked in beef fat, and there's a large parking lot right across the street... we'll be back.

Top-notch address! The service and atmosphere are exceptional! The dishes are made by Picon! Absolutely delicious! The best Welsh rarebit in the north! Highly recommended!

16/02/2026: A small restaurant with wood-fired cooking that makes all the difference. 🔥 You can taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The owner and staff are truly lovely, smiling, and attentive. You can feel their genuine passion and desire to please their customers. We had a wonderful time, and it was also very good value for money. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return! 😊
13/02/2026: Homemade fries and pork ribs cooked over a wood fire right in front of us. Excellent Flemish steak for dessert. The only slight drawback is that the only beer on tap is Leffe Blonde, and the good beer is only available in 75cl bottles.
