Delicious lunch under the trees... Attentive staff

We recently ate at this restaurant as a family. It's easy to say that the restaurant lives up to its name. We had a particularly good meal and chatted with the server, who was very pleasant and whose humor made us laugh a lot. Thanks also to the chef, hidden in the kitchen, whose dishes were, I think, appreciated, even though the plates were empty. Looking forward to returning.

Wonderful dinner on a summer evening at La Montagne in the hills above the city of Beaune! Plenty of parking right in front of the entrance, fully handicap accessible. A few steps (or wide ramp) down into the large patio shaded by a big chestnut tree. Indoor seating to the left, behind a wide and tall glass front. Seated immediately and served by a friendly attentive host and the owner. Our orders were taken without rush and good explanations. We received an appetizer terrine on the house. The plates were served shortly afterwards. Delicious dishes, very tasty, nicely plated. Perfect French comfort food. French fries were crispy and not oily at all 👍. Extensive wine card, both French and international selections, also half bottles and by the glass. Highly recommended, well worth a small detour for those in transit through Beaune! We’ll be back, a la prochaine 😋😋😋

Simple and effective meal. Good value for money

One very hot summer evening, we decided to dine on this terrace under the trees in the hills above Beaune, and, as always, we had a wonderful time! The menu is very classic, but the ingredients are local and high-quality. The service is efficient and friendly. The dishes are delicious and generous. The atmosphere is pleasant. Bravo!
