Le Bouchon sur Compiegne

Arriving with friends at this 15th-century building, we discovered a place that's been a staple of the Rough Guide for many years. It's an address well worth the detour in the Compiègne area for lovers of stone and well-being in a warm, family-friendly setting. A warm welcome, both in the ambiance and on the faces of the staff, awaited us at the entrance. Impeccable service and a delicious meal were served with joy and happiness, featuring a tempting menu. We had a wonderful evening in the company of the owners and staff who, through their experience, offered us a magnificent moment of escape from daily worries, a pause in time in this restaurant that allowed us to relive moments with family, often forgotten by our loved ones. Thank you, a huge thank you, and congratulations! I highly recommend it.

Nice little restaurant, we were able to eat on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful weather during the Joan of Arc celebrations! We were right across from the museum and could see the actors/extras arriving! Otherwise, we had a great time, the food was very good, the service was a little slow due to the crowd that evening, but really a very enjoyable experience! I recommend it!

I went to eat with my three children, and all four of our plates were emptied without any effort (parents will understand...). Everything was delicious, and they even offered to adapt a dish for the youngest, which was really appreciated. Go there without hesitation for truly excellent food; I can't wait to go back and introduce my husband to it on a romantic date!
