🍽Hello 👋, new menu with dishes from our 'grandmothers'. Delicious onion soup, stuffed cabbage that I rediscovered after so many years and finally the new risotto, just killer. Only one regret, not having had enough room for a tiramisu or that's the only place I enjoy it. 😋

Everyone enjoyed their starters and the 3 course menu was good value. Unfortunately, the main courses were a bit of a disappointment, steaks overcooked and vongole flavourless and swimming in oil. The staff changed the steaks when we asked. The desserts were really good and made up for the poor middle courses. The tiramisu was the star of the show.

Good meal and the restaurant welcomed us in a large table of 9. Thank you Personally I recommend frog legs. Small downside for extracting air from fried foods in the kitchen. The smoke came back where we ate, creating a cloud in the room that wasn't too pleasant. Maybe this is a temporary problem?

Very tasty French but also Italian food. The staff is nice and friendly and we were more than full at the end. Price/performance is absolutely right here for France. The wine also tasted good and wasn't overpriced (1 glass of white wine 4€, a carafe 10€)

Le Restaurant La Rose

10/09/2024: We stopped at this hotel in Juliénas where our room was located in the annex. Very nice and quiet room. You therefore have to go out to get to the hotel where the restaurant and the breakfast room are located, which is absolutely not a problem because it is just a stone's throw away. The welcome is very friendly, the restaurant where we ate on the terrace offers dishes that will delight the taste buds. The service, provided by two young seasonal workers, did not suffer any criticism and we thank them again. The breakfast served by the hostess was really generous. The little extras: Parking in front of the hotel and a booklet in the room highlighting the sites to visit during a longer stay.

27/08/2024: Little break this lunchtime, 23€ dessert dish, a delight, perfectly cooked 😁 The service team is super friendly and offers excellent advice in choosing wines. To do again without moderation!
