A wonderful discovery in the heart of Dijon, away from the crowds. Unpretentious, delicious, flavorful dishes just the way we like them. We highly recommend this place.

The restaurant is on a very quiet street (we ate outside), and the food was very good with decent portions. However, privacy isn't great; the tables outside are too close together, and hearing your neighbor's conversation is really unpleasant. We mentioned this to the owner upon arrival, but apparently, there's no choice; that's just how it is. "A SHAME"

July 20, 2026 A very good restaurant in Dijon. The location is very convenient, near Place de la Libération but in a quiet area. Traditional cuisine with excellent ingredients. The coq au vin was delicious. I recommend Le Bouchon du Palais.

We went there one evening. The staff were welcoming. However, we were a little disappointed by the quality of the food. Given the average ratings in the reviews, we expected better.

Expensive meal for the quality. A starter and main course cost €29 for two small cheese crisps with a handful of lamb's lettuce and a trout fillet with hash browns cooked in old oil. The restaurant is making a hefty profit on a meal that was anything but exceptional!

16/06/2026: Absolutely delicious! The dishes are traditional, homemade, and original! It's been a long time since I've eaten so well in Dijon. 😋❤️ Impeccable service and a peaceful atmosphere. A very warm welcome. The price is very reasonable for the quality (we had a starter, main course, and dessert, a set menu for €32). 👍🏻 There were two of us with a stroller. We'll definitely be back! 😍
