Le Bouclard sur Paris

The lady who is believe was the manager was so helpful & could even speak English and they had an English menu available too. The food was absolutely incredible, I really recommend the escargots & the beef bougignon. We visited before the moulin rouge show which is just a couple of minutes walk away.

Traditional French cuisine restaurant. Finally a small, warm restaurant where you can taste traditional recipes. We ate foi gras with potatoes and truffles, duck, beef bourguignon. Everything exquisite. The owner and also the waitress were very friendly and passionate. Advised.

Google Maps says it's "luxury", but the atmosphere is casual. However, in this era of low yen, the price seems high to Japanese people, but it can't be helped. The host speaks English fluently. They go around each seat and ask questions such as where they came from and if there are any problems. They will make sure that there is nothing on the menu that you don't understand, so feel free to ask questions. Apparently the movie version of The Solitary Gourmet was filmed here. Do you know Matsushige Yutaka while traveling in France? I was surprised to hear that. Appetizers were 25 euros, mains were 35 euros, and I forgot the dessert. I think it was 12 euros or something. You can order it a la carte, but if you choose the course it will cost you 65 euros, which is a bit of a bargain. The appetizer, escargot, comes in 12 pieces, and the terrine is generous in size, leaving your stomach satisfied. The thin-skinned ponde queijo that comes out on its own is also delicious. I had boeuf bourguignon for lunch at another restaurant (a place where you can casually pop in), but the taste was completely different. Of course this one tastes better. No matter which wine we ordered, it was delicious, and the two of us ended up opening two bottles and a carafe. The mojito ice cream is not sweet at all, so even those who don't like sweets can enjoy it, but please be careful as the alcohol that comes with it is quite high in alcohol. A couple with different skin colors were slapping each other and fighting outside the window (surprise. It's not a very safe area...), but I was satisfied from beginning to end. Thank you for the good memories.

An honor to French cuisine! A tribute to homemade catering! A French tambouille made from grandmother's recipes. The welcome is friendly, the service efficient and fast, too, because it's the kind of place where you feel so good that you would stay there for more and more.

I came here for lunch on Friday without a reservation, which was no problem. The host was friendly and she seated me right away. The host speaks English so it's no problem if you're an American or foreigner. The space is tight inside so I would recommend making a reservation for large groups. I had the lunch special (app-main-wine-coffee) and ordered escargot, beef pastrami with eggs, and red wine. Everything was delectable and made to perfection 👌🏻 Note that the service and pace at resturants in Paris are slow compared to American standards. The French certainly take their time to enjoy their meals and leisure. Come in, slow down, and enjoy a traditional home cooked French meal at Le Bouclard 🍽

Friendly welcome in a busy small authentic French restaurant. Did not book but got lucky as 1 table was available. The food was simply amazing, made with pride and obvious expertise. The service was perfect, attentive without intrusion. I can be quite hard in my reviews as I work too hard to pay for cold bland food with poor service, here I found a benchmark I can’t recall ever enjoying so much . Absolutely perfect! I can’t wait to find a reason to return. This is a truly great Restaurant in a great part of Paris ! Don’t hesitate just go if you get the chance.
