Excellent lunch, with traditional cuisine prepared at its finest. The dishes were flavorful, well-executed, and thoroughly enjoyable.
One small drawback: if you're a local or a regular, you seem to receive noticeably more attentive service.

A truly wonderful discovery and a fantastic place to eat.
A passionate chef who respects tradition, serving real food, not vacuum-packed or frozen meals, with reasonable prices and generous portions.
All this with a personal touch.
This is a genuine restaurant where you enjoy your meal and where the passion of the chef and his team shines through in every dish.
Here, customers are treated with respect, both on the plate and in the service!
I highly recommend this gem; it will be my go-to spot when I return to the Cabourg area! Go for it!

The service was incredibly slow... a two-hour wait between the starter and the main course is outrageous. The excuse of "short staff" doesn't reflect the customer's fault.
The food is good, but not up to the recommendations. The mashed potatoes were served cold, the dish was sent back, and it came back the same—everything was cold.
In short, for the price, there are much better options with friendly and pleasant staff.

I have no words to express how excellent Le Bougnat restaurant is.
When I was working in downtown Dives-sur-Mer in 2016, believe it or not, I ate lunch there every day. Now that I live two hours round trip from Le Bougnat, I only eat there about half a dozen times a month, and each time it's a festival of flavors, tastes, and culinary delight.
A huge thank you to Laurent and Isabelle, and their team.
Everything is homemade and served in generous portions.
Today, I savored the Bougnat Burger with its Bernaise sauce; it was exquisite, a true delight.

Traditional cuisine of good quality served by an overwhelmed staff! We waited an hour for our cold starter, a slice of liver pâté, and an avocado with salmon rillettes! Avoid this place if you don't have at least two hours for lunch. P.S.: We didn't order dessert or coffee, just a starter and main course...
