So happy to rediscover the spirit of Le Bougnat, which had been missing for a good ten years.
We've found the same atmosphere, Isabelle's smile (she's the owner now, having been a waitress here 20 years ago), the warm welcome, the quality of the food…
We had stopped going, but we're so glad to be back and will definitely return.
If you want to eat well, this is the place to come 😉

Fantastic restaurant! The food was amazing, everything homemade, and the service was top-notch. They served Norman specialties and truly delicious cuisine. Thanks again to Laurent and Isa and the whole team! I highly recommend it if you're ever in Normandy :)

My wife and I ordered the €40 set menu. We left rather disappointed. I ordered one of the daily specials: puff pastry with beef andouille sausage... it seemed more like a starter than a proper main course, about 5cm x 5cm... with a few fries. I'm not sure I'll go back because we felt like we were being ripped off.

I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time. A very good experience. The service was very efficient and friendly. The food was refined, excellent, and generous.
And very good value for money. Lunch menu: €17.90 for starter + main course / main + dessert, or €21.90 for starter + main + dessert.

Everything is homemade!!!
Having come with a pétanque group on Sunday, we didn't have time to fully appreciate the meal due to the weather. We returned the next day, just the two of us, and the dishes were delicious—everything is homemade. Homemade fries are becoming rare these days, so it was a real treat to have them. The chocolate fondant was excellent, and the service was very pleasant. Thank you to the team; don't change a thing!

Excellent welcome. Very friendly staff. We had a very good dinner: egg and brioche, tripe for my cousin who thoroughly enjoyed it, foie gras, pork, etc. We will be back. Babeth.
