We came for the weekend and ate here on the recommendation of our host.
The staff were overwhelmed by a table of 32 people in addition to the other customers, yet they were incredibly efficient, smiling, and friendly.
The food was delicious, and we definitely got our money's worth. For the same price elsewhere, I would have still been hungry; we were completely satisfied.
Everything was fresh, very well cooked, and the overall atmosphere was reminiscent of the old bistros I remember from my childhood. A well-deserved 5 stars!

Wow, what a surprise! We stumbled upon this place by chance, not knowing the area and not being from around here.
Upon arrival, we were surprised by its authentic charm. The owner told us the story of this restaurant; it's truly unique.
From the appetizer to the dessert, accompanied by wine, EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious—the kind of great food we love, bursting with flavor. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff was incredibly friendly and offered excellent advice. We'll definitely be back! Well done to this restaurant! 🙏🏼

I have no words to express how excellent Le Bougnat restaurant is.
When I was working in downtown Dives-sur-Mer in 2016, believe it or not, I ate lunch there every day. Now that I live two hours round trip from Le Bougnat, I only eat there about half a dozen times a year, and each time it's a festival of flavors, tastes, and culinary delight.
A huge thank you to Laurent and Isabelle, and their team.
Everything is homemade and served in generous portions.
Today, I savored the Bougnat Bread Burger with its Bernaise sauce; it was exquisite, a true delight.
