LE BOULEVARD sur Pau

We were delighted to find this restaurant which offers a gluten-free burger. Our 7-year-old son was particularly happy to devour this good burger. Very good fries too. Our other plates were also very good. Thanks to the chef, waiter and thank you to the boss for offering this gluten-free burger! An oasis for us who can't go to restaurants often and not just any restaurant. Thank you thank you thank you!

Satisfied but still missing. We had lunch in this restaurant which has a rather nice setting. The order was taken quickly and the dishes were served without waiting, which was appreciable, even rather surprising, knowing that there were 11 of us and that it was already 1 p.m. But this is where some problems appeared: - Several of us ordered rare burgers, they were borderline well done - The burgers contained sauce but we could smell it too much which hid the taste of the other foods which was a shame especially since it was cold!!! Fortunately the plates had quantity. The cook should keep his plates warm so that the dishes do not get cold on the plates. Another small problem, when you go to the single toilet for the restaurant, there are crates of Coca-Cola and other drinks, perhaps due to lack of space but it would be better to put them elsewhere. In addition, instead of a hand dryer that puts water on the floor, it would be better to install a paper dispenser because it is more hygienic. The service at the end was a little long for a crepe, a scoop of ice cream and two coffees, too bad. But good service from the servers knowing that there were three of them for around twenty tables, they remained attentive throughout the service. The service is satisfactory but hoping for improvements in the kitchen.

The goat cheese salad is very good, very large and the cheese is very good, the beef tartar is also very good

Very nice terrace with a view (when the sky is clear 😉) of the Pyrenees mountain range. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. A good place to have a drink in Pau in a warm atmosphere.

The drinks can be fully recommended. But our hot goat cheese salad was definitely subpar, the dressing was skimped on, and the bread underneath the melted cheese was tough and not toasted. At least it's nice to sit on the boulevard.
