We went to lunch at this inn after learning it had won the prize for best vol-au-vent at the Strasbourg European Fair. While the vol-au-vent was indeed good, with veal and poultry, at €32 or €33 a plate, it was still a bit pricey! It's a shame because the other dishes on offer are significantly cheaper and just as good. I'd be curious to know the price of this dish before the competition. As it is, you get the unpleasant feeling of being the chicken that's been plucked. What a pity!

Due to a misunderstanding regarding our reservation, we arrived without a confirmed table. Although the restaurant was full, the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us. A rare gesture, accompanied by impeccable service. Thank you for your hospitality.

We were a group of seven with two children, and we received a warm welcome with smiles. All the staff were pleasant. The setting is magnificent; it must be lovely on the terrace too. The meal was very good, the pot-au-feu was of superb quality, the side dishes were excellent, and the steaks were of good quality. The service was quick despite the circumstances (the restaurant was full and staff was reduced). All my encouragement to the team; the results speak for themselves. I highly recommend it!
