Highly recommend this restaurant. The food was excellent, really enjoyed each dish, from the starter to desert. Very reasonable price too.

Superb restaurant in Avignon old city section. La Fourchette is a cozy place with a limited menu of 5 entrees but they are standouts especially the beef stew which is the most popular according to the owner. The entrees and desserts are truly delicious. Reservations ahead of desired day is a must. Highly recommend....Thom Atlanta

beautifully designed rooms with excellent service and great food. we took the chef's recommendations and loved every bite. there is also a great bar at the front if you arrive early

A truly delightful experience for the taste buds! A complete, high-quality meal! The starter was fresh and invigorating with its lemon sauce! The tuna was cooked to perfection. A small glass of Châteauneuf-du-Pape to accompany it all. Perfect. The homemade dessert was also excellent. Bravo! A very pleasant evening. A warm welcome and attentive staff!

The food here was so good! We loved the veau and the daube de bœuf. The entrées are also good. We had the calamars and the asperges. The tarte au citron was also good!

A very tasty, generous, and comparatively inexpensive lunch. We had made a reservation, but it wasn't too busy that day. We received a very friendly welcome and excellent service. Highly recommended, especially for a spot a little off the beaten tourist track in the city.

13/04/2026: Best meal we had in France!!! Just delicious.
07/04/2026: This was the best food that I have had in Avignon. Each dish was a delightful explosion of flavors. The chef himself came out to explain the dishes to my table, in English. The service was amazing and the lighting, the decoration, the music, the entire atmosphere was incredible. I would dine here again and again and again.
