A special place, not for everyone. Only three main courses. A few appetizers and a few desserts. It's worth appreciating. We did... a lot!

Small spot tucked in back street. Owner/chef does it all. Seats guests, take orders, cooks the food, clears the tables. Because of this, not a lot of time for small talk! But the food was superb at very reasonable prices. I had a cheese with blueberry sauce app and the low temp roasted chicken, with a sparklingly apple cider sauce. Delicious! Come for the food. You won’t be disappointed.

A brilliant French dining experience tucked away in a little laneway. The menu is simple but refined, and the one-man chef/host/sommelier will astound you with his efficiency, warmth and ability to produce an excellent meal. A must visit in Avignon!

Such a hidden gem! We visited here for Sunday lunch. We had booked a table but actually most people were walk ins. They have a lovely terrace which is in excellent shade at lunch time. The food was all excellent and the proprietor was very friendly and helpful. We loved it and would happily return! One of our best meals during our French trip!

Secluded on this little street, I had a peaceful lunch. I opted for their set lunch menu, which included coffee and wine. Classic but well-cooked and delicious. A great lunch spot at a very reasonable price.

Exceptional restaurant on a side street off the bustling Place Crillion in the old center of Avignon. Delicious dishes, beautifully balanced flavors. In a magical way, the owner manages to be an excellent host as well as cook and serve! He also took our dietary requirements into account very well. Highly recommended!

13/10/2026: It was a classic place where you could really feel French dining culture! I heard it was popular, so I went about 5 minutes early after looking around nearby. There were already two groups waiting, and as soon as I sat down, several more groups came in, so it filled up quickly. I had the full course meal. It was definitely different from the Paris or Dijon style beef stew. I tried the velouté that a French friend recommended; it had a unique flavor and was served warm. (It tasted a bit like a mix of curry, pumpkin, and butter.) The food was delicious, and I liked that they served various kinds of bread and replaced the forks, spoons, and knives with every dish. Although it was tasty, everything was incredibly salty, and the dessert was a cake with a lot of rum in it, so the flavors were generally strong. The bread was delicious, so it was fine if you ate it together. It was fun that the male owner? said "Thank you" in Korean both when I took my order and when I left😆

10/09/2026: Probably one of the best restaurants in the world in the €30-€50 price range. Simple but very good, warm, and with excellent service. It's exactly what a restaurant should be.
09/09/2026: Exceptional! How could anyone possibly leave a negative review for this restaurant? We ate very well and received a very warm welcome. If you come to Avignon, this is THE restaurant to try if you want to eat well and feel right at home.
