A very friendly atmosphere next to the park. Two very understanding and efficient owners on a day when the universities were holding their open house. Homemade and very good food. Highly recommended.

Reviews of the brasserie are not representative of this place. A good brasserie with northern specialties (near the kitchen, a slight aroma of Maroilles cheese fills the room). A daily special is offered for €15 (very good sausage rougail). Friendly servers but not very responsive at the end of the meal; we had to ask them for coffees ourselves. The restaurant is often full at lunchtime. Good, crispy homemade fries.

Stopped here for lunch. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. Portion size was generous. Can highly recommend the local ‘Le Welsh’ dish.

29/03/2026: The Morisson is a friendly and versatile spot: a restaurant at lunchtime and a bar in the evening, making it a great place to go at any time of day. Its biggest strength is definitely the concept: all pints are €5 (except for the Paix Dieu), and best of all, there's no happy hour – the price is the same all day long. Frankly, it's rare and incredibly convenient; no need to keep an eye on the time. The atmosphere is convivial, especially in the evening, with a great vibe. At lunchtime, it's quieter, which is perfect for a relaxed meal.
