Lunch at the intimate and lost buron at the summit

A traditional restaurant run by a beef cow producer. Its products are transformed and served with different choices of accompaniments from traditional Cantal recipes. The cuisine is simple and excellent. No fuss, just pleasure for the taste buds! The environment on the set is magnificent. You will need to book in advance otherwise you risk finding yourself in front of a full house.

We enjoyed a hearty and delicious meal. A warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere in a relaxing setting. Local products on the menu. We will come back during our next stay in Cantal.

Buron located at the Col d'Aulac which is accessed by a stony path. The typical Cantalian summer pasture house is run by a friendly and warm owner assisted in the service by 2 equally friendly and smiling waitresses. The products offered are of excellent quality and cooked perfectly. Thanks to the kitchen staff. Address to recommend. Please note, the house does not take credit cards. Making reservations is recommended. When you go out, there are several walks available to you. We chose the one from the Cotteuge huts. (Buron: shelter used by the cowherd when he brings his herd to the summer pasture where he makes Cantal after milking the cows).
