Absolutely magnificent setting, in a charming traditional stone hut. The restaurant is spacious, very cozy, and truly delightful; you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
The service was impeccable: well-paced, no waiting, everything flowed naturally, just the right amount of service.
As for the food, simple ingredients were showcased beautifully. The dishes were both delicious and satisfying! And all this at a very reasonable price, especially considering the exceptional setting.
The staff were very friendly, making for a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Thank you to the entire team, everything was perfect!

Good restaurant, but a bit pricey. Nothing like the Auberge du Lac where we usually eat.
But the Buron was the only one open. Well done!

Excellent place. A well-maintained and welcoming setting, both inside and out. Local dishes, quality ingredients (only the white bread might be a little underwhelming... but you don't eat bread with aligot!). A very good place. The owner is a bit abrupt and direct with customers, but we'll be back!

We went to the restaurant on Sunday, October 24th. The staff was excellent and professional, with a lovely view. The food was very good. We'll definitely be back. I returned for a birthday meal, which was just as good (November 8th, 2025). I will be back.

We stayed at the "petit buron," the original. It's not very big, but the atmosphere is excellent, with an exceptional waitress.
Everything is delicious and beautiful, a pleasant Sunday on the Aubrac 👍
