Excellent aligot, but it deserved a better side dish (the meat was rubbery 😕). The vacherin for dessert was excellent. Neither the waiter nor the owner asked us if we enjoyed our meal... On the other hand, we're just pilgrims passing through, so...

A good evening meal after a stop on the Camino de Santiago. The beef was a little tough but cooked as requested, and the service was quick. The aligot was very good, and the desserts were excellent.

The welcome was a bit cold, and it was no longer possible to order a charcuterie platter on a Saturday after 1 p.m.! I opted for a steak from Aubrac, which was absolutely tough, although the aligot was tasty: disappointing value for money. It's a shame not to find a menu specifically for pilgrims at this essential stop on the Camino de Santiago.

14/06/2026: Lunch with my wife. Alte on the Camino de Santiago. We had booked because of the restaurant's reputation. The experience lived up to expectations. Super efficient service, top-notch food. The charcuterie board was both beautifully presented and featured excellent products. The Abrac beef melted in your mouth. Aligot served hot in a pan. Profiteroles with choux pastry and homemade hot chocolate. A nap was definitely in order before continuing our hike. A truly wonderful place. A must-visit in my opinion.
