I found the garden quite original in its design. Certain elements give the landscape a real personality and make the walk less ordinary than a simple stroll in a park. I enjoyed being able to move at a leisurely pace and discover the different areas gradually. It's a place worth discovering without necessarily looking for a specific activity.

A lovely place for walks and relaxation, with options for a picnic or a meal. This was my visit in August 2020. My next visit in August 2026: The garden was full of flowers and lush greenery, but unfortunately, the heads of the giants were no longer properly sculpted. I've come to terms with this; it might be due to the lack of water since May. But still, it's a lovely walk. I recommend this Garden of Giants. Eddy 👌.

We'll have to come back next year if there's no drought. Many plants, including the bamboo, were scorched. It's also a shame the tops of the giant bamboos aren't properly trimmed; they're hard to distinguish. A calm and relaxing site.

02/09/2026: I cam early.. I have to give a try a little bit late..
29/08/2026: We went yesterday late in the afternoon to take advantage of happy hour and ordered a "signature" cocktail, one of the most expensive on sale at €10, which is still a very large sum, especially on sale. We were stunned to discover it was a tiny glass and not a proper cocktail. The alcohol content was sufficient, but I would have preferred a real cocktail because I was with my boyfriend and would have liked to take my time to enjoy it. So I think it was really overpriced for what it was, especially since you're not even served at your table; you have to collect your drink from the bar. The staff is available and more or less welcoming, but it's not a place I would go back to. The interior isn't amazing either, and there was a smell of both toilets and sausage hanging from the bar, which wasn't great.

La Taverne du Ch'ti - Sami et Stéphane

02/09/2026: By far our favorite restaurant in Lille with my boyfriend! We went several times this summer, and everything was perfect: attentive staff, excellent food, and no wait. Go without hesitation! (P.S.: We highly recommend the beef stir-fried noodles, our favorite dish on the menu 😋)
06/08/2026: A very friendly little restaurant with a warm welcome and friendly service, all accompanied by delicious food!
