Perfectly located restaurant just off the highway in Chanas. It was worth the trip for lunch. Parking is very easy. It's clean and the food is delicious! The dishes are made with fresh ingredients and the presentation is beautiful. The atmosphere is welcoming, as is the staff; the service is quick; and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this establishment.

An excellent address to remember, just a stone's throw from the highway exit! We stopped at Cachopiou somewhat by chance, without having made a reservation, and received a very warm welcome. We were offered a seat inside, in the air-conditioned dining room, or on the terrace. The restaurant is spacious, the tables are spaced far enough apart that you're not crowded, and above all, it's quiet: you can actually talk and hear each other. A real plus! The menu is appealing, with daily specials, set menus, and various options. We chose to order à la carte and started with a charcuterie platter. A delightful surprise: truly high-quality charcuterie, accompanied by gherkins, butter, and, most importantly, excellent bread—something that's becoming rare enough in restaurants to be worth mentioning! We then chose the ravioli casserole with Saint-Marcellin cheese… and what a treat! Rich, generous, and flavorful: we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Unfortunately, we weren't hungry enough to try the desserts, which is a shame considering how tempting the menu looked. The value for money is truly excellent, especially given the quality of the food and service. It's a really good alternative when you're on the road and prefer to leave the motorway for a proper meal rather than stopping at a rest area. We highly recommend this place; we won't forget it and will definitely return if we're ever in the area again!
