Le Café de Paris sur Paris

A nice little brasserie with a warm welcome and a very pleasant upstairs dining room (it seemed perhaps a bit more "tense" downstairs). The dishes were good and generous: well-topped pizzas and salads, excellent fries, and superb strawberry tiramisu and French toast! A bit pricey, but still good value for money for a restaurant located so close to the Louvre. We'll be back if we have the chance!

It’s a lovely place, the food was good and everyone was friendly

Stopped here with my wife while visiting her family in Paris, after we had just visited the Louvre. We were looking for a quick meal and drink and decided to stop here. Instead of the usual French wine with something new (as I have been doing throughout my stay in Paris), I tried their beer and pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious. The beer was an ale reminiscent of those I have stateside, and the pizza reminded of my favorites I have ever had (in Naples, Italy, and in a local Italian restaurant in upstate New York) but with a refinement. Highly recommend this restaurant when you're in Paris.

This coffee bar is ideally located in District 1, within walking distance of many museums and commercial areas. After spending hours exploring nearby cultural attractions or browsing shops, it’s an excellent place to take a break, recharge, and enjoy some sunshine. The outdoor seating area is particularly appealing, offering a comfortable spot to sit back, relax, and soak up the lively atmosphere of the neighborhood. It’s the kind of place where you can rest your feet, sip on a drink, and watch the city move around you. That said, the café can get quite busy, especially during peak hours. With the high volume of customers, service may occasionally feel rushed. In fact, there is a chance that the staff might make small mistakes, such as charging the wrong amount on the bill. It would be wise to double-check your receipt before paying to ensure everything is accurate. As for the food, the fried items were unfortunately overcooked and a bit too dry. However, the sauces served alongside them were surprisingly good. They seemed to be prepared in advance, likely with a well-balanced recipe, as the flavors were rich and satisfying. The sauces definitely helped elevate the overall taste experience, compensating somewhat for the overly fried texture. Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, the café remains a convenient and pleasant stop when you need a sunny break in a busy part of town.

A great place to eat and drink in Paris, very close to Rue de Rivoli. We had two very good Croque-Madames, with a full plate of fries and salad.

A fresh and well-seasoned steak tartare with good fries for €20. A relaxing meal in a Parisian atmosphere (not very friendly and a bit tense). The portions were satisfactory, I recommend it!

We really liked the taste of the calzone, the attention, the service and the place

We came for lunch today and weren't disappointed, although the new potatoes were perhaps a little undercooked. The setting is very beautiful, and the establishment is well-maintained. The servers are attentive.

Stopped in the La Cantine at the Cafe de Paris for a quick brunch. Food and cappuccino were good and the waitress was friendly.

I was staying at a nearby Airbnb and had dinner there on my first night in Paris. The steak and pizza were delicious, but the cream pasta had separate noodles and sauce (plus, there wasn't enough sauce, so it felt like I was eating boiled noodles). The atmosphere was nice and the interior was clean. However, I didn't find the staff to be as friendly as other nearby restaurants. If you come here, try the steak and pizza.
