Our first stop was the restaurant "Le Cafe du Commerce" for dinner. It was lovely, with a great view of the square, and we sat outside at a beautifully set table and enjoyed a truly delicious meal. The evening was wonderful, and while the prices weren't exactly low, they were far from exorbitant; they were quite reasonable considering the quality of the food.
A few days later, we returned for lunch, and we weren't disappointed. We definitely recommend it, even though the restaurant right next door was a bit cheaper and had a better breakfast.

We spontaneously stopped in for lunch. The location on Place Stanislas is beautiful, of course. However, there were quite a few tourists. We had the daily special: roast veal with Mexican sauce and mashed potatoes. The food was good. The service was friendly and attentive. And it was all relatively inexpensive. Highly recommended.

The staff is very dedicated and responsive.
The food is very good.
One small drawback: there aren't a few more vegetarian options. Apart from that, no complaints.
I always leave satisfied with the service, the welcome, the cleanliness, and the food.
The prices are reasonable for a restaurant on Place Stanislas.

We were on the Rue Stanislas side this morning, the waiter was great: a small glass of water with the coffee, an amuse-bouche with the aperitif, and a newspaper without us even asking 👍

I came to Café du Commerce with a friend. We had a pleasant time, but the experience was fairly typical.
It's advertised as being air-conditioned, but I didn't really get that impression during our visit. With the heat, it would have been nice.
Otherwise, it's a pretty ordinary café, with nothing particularly positive or negative that stood out to me.

Excellent service from the waiters (even late at night), especially from Lagda, the amazing waiter who was so kind and looked after our comfort throughout our visit to his bar. Many thanks to Lagda, and perhaps we'll be back again 😘

We ordered two burgers. The fries were undercooked and the ground beef patty was barely warm. The waitress was responsive, but it's not up to the standard of this establishment. It's all the more disappointing because the manager, sitting next to us, was proudly talking about a 25% increase in revenue. You don't come to this place for haute cuisine, but for very good brasserie-style food. It's disappointing.
