Le Cafe Du Grand Prix sur Pau

We've seen many reviews about this café/restaurant... very mixed. Personally, we live in the Pau area and love coming here for a drink. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant, and the setting in Beaumont Park is lovely. We ate here tonight, and the food and gourmet coffee were excellent. No complaints whatsoever, and the waiter was fantastic. We think it deserves top marks for this type of service, and a special mention goes to the waiter. We'll definitely be back.

I came with two friends and we had a wonderful time. The service was discreet, efficient, and very professional. The dishes were served with great care; even in a bistro setting, you could feel the genuine attention paid to each plate, both in terms of taste and presentation. The cocktails were excellent, and the setting is simply perfect. Admittedly, the prices might seem a bit high, but the experience more than justifies them. This isn't my first visit, and it's always a pleasure to return. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation. Congratulations to the kitchen staff and the teams who handle the service and reception at the hotel.
