We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, looking for a place to eat before visiting the aquarium. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food: fresh, high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared. I sincerely recommend this place; we will definitely return on our next visit to La Rochelle.

Excellent place. The menu is short, which guarantees fresh, locally sourced food. The options are a delight: razor clams, seafood platter, octopus, fish and seafood casserole, and the catch of the day. There were four of us, each ordering different starters and main courses. We shared, etc. Delicious. Excellent. They also offer meat dishes. The atmosphere is friendly. The staff is very welcoming. Many regulars. The decor is both warm and understated. An excellent place at a reasonable price. A must-try in La Rochelle.

13/02/2026: A wonderful discovery, home-style cooking with a personal touch. Fish, seafood, and generous desserts, far from tourist traps, affordable prices, and excellent service.
07/02/2026: The rave reviews convinced us to book a table. My colleague and I ordered mussels with Bleu d'Auvergne cheese. The sauce was generous and quite well made. However, half the mussels were overcooked. The quality of the red wine served by the carafe was truly mediocre, especially considering the €9.50 price tag.

15/03/2026: Nice little restaurant. The dishes we chose were very good. We found the blonde beer a bit bitter, though. Also, the waitresses were fiddling with their phones between cutting the bread and serving the table... Frankly, not very hygienic.
07/03/2026: A really lovely place, an exceptional cocktail menu, and great food.
