Le café du Théâtre sur Lille

On Wednesday, July 1st, during a stroll through Lille, we were drawn to the terrace, ideally located on the steps with a magnificent view of the Grand Place. It was hard to resist the urge to sit down and enjoy a refreshing drink! I especially want to highlight the excellent service. The young man who greeted us and took our order was truly friendly, smiling, pleasant, and patient. This deserves to be mentioned, as it is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare to encounter waiters or waitresses who perform their work with such good humor and enthusiasm. Thank you to him for this enjoyable experience. I hope future visitors will have the chance to enjoy the same!

A very nice place for a drink or a meal. It's the bar and restaurant of the theater, located on Lille's main square. Don't hesitate to go. When I'm in the city center, I like to have my tea there in peace and quiet. And for lunch today, I had a delicious dish from the north: Welsh rarebit. Yum!

Absolutely fantastic! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped by the enticing aroma of delicious food that tantalizes your taste buds. The daily special is enticing from the moment you read it, as is its price. The menu changes every two weeks, but there are always three staples, and depending on the chef's inspiration, other options include fish, meat, vegetarian, and cheese dishes—in short, everything is carefully considered. You receive a warm welcome, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is dedicated to ensuring you have a wonderful experience. We'll be back!
