Lovely decor and atmosphere in this central restaurant and friendly welcome. The food was altogether quite average while the reccomended champagne good.
I would probably recommend it more for a drink than for a meal

We had such a lovely lunch. Our servers were so thoughtful and kind. My 15 year old son mistakenly order what turned out to be a ham Terrine; this is not appealing to him, they switched it out without blinking an eye, though it was clearly our fault. The duck was amazing. We also loved the traditional Croque Monsieur and the Truffle Croque Monsieur. If you like Truffle, it’s heavenly. Highly recommended!

We took a day trip to Reims and scheduled a lunch at Cafe du Palais. We really enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is fun with lots of eclectic artwork, and the service was great with attentive and engaging waitstaff, but the food was best part. They also had an extensive champagne list. We would certainly recommend it to others and return the next time we are in Reims.

Waitors are very friendly just busy so not as attentive, but they respond if u need something. The foie gras was delicious! The duck was a little on the sweet side. Lots of rum in the rum cake! My friend really liked her foie gras pasta dish. But it was very very warm inside for us in October.

We had a wonderful experience at the Cafe du Palais. Everyone welcomed us when we entered this very busy restaurant. We were lucky that we had made reservations online in advance. It was a short walk from the cathedral, so it fit nicely into our plans. The food and the service were exceptional. The pasta with escargot dish was delicious and filled with escargot. Our server was very warm and made it his job to see that we were pleased with our meal every step of the way. He made this very “French” experience memorable for us!

The whole experience was fantastic. The staffs were super friendly to our 3 year old son, the food was delicious, and of course the champagne was brilliant. We would definitely recommend to our friends to visit!

Beautiful place for breakfast. They have a set continental breakfast, toast with lovely jam, croissant, coffee and orange. Charmly decorated.
