Very good restaurant in a historic place in Caen, the Castle of William the Conqueror. Refined cuisine and pleasant atmosphere....just like the servers.

Very nice home. Excellent cuisine with good local products. Top notch service. Everything you need to enjoy a good lunch with friends. We highly recommend this restaurant. THE PETANQUEURS OF SAINT-BARNABÉ AND VALENTINOIS 🙂👍

Dans un lieu historique, c'est une très bonne table avec des tarif abordables pour des produits bien travaillé. L'accueil est vraiment très agréable, le lieu atypique, et le service est effectué par des jeunes qui veulent bien faire même si tout n'est pas parfait. Le travail dans l'assiette est très bon, le saumon en entré et le poisson en plat valent le détour. Bref un très bon moment !!

Nous sommes allés au café roof top, pour prendre des boissons. On y est très bien installés, dans des canapés confortables, avec parasols. Le jeune serveur était très sympathique. On a passé un bon moment.

31/08/2024: Delicious cookie, very good apple pie! Everything is homemade (even a hotplate for the 🍪🤤) and served in a very good atmosphere! If I have to mention a downside it is the price which I found high; even if it’s the same everywhere: €3 for a cookie, €4 for lemonade, €5.90 for a slice of cake… Very pleasant terrace.
24/08/2024: We had a very warm welcome and we had a very pleasant time. The pastries are homemade and the crockery is mismatched to add a crazy charm to our visit. It was like home, we recommend the hot pancakes and the homemade cheesecake was very, very good. Well done to you

23/11/2024: Good atmosphere, nice setting, the staff is pleasant. The Morbier Burger is super good, definitely worth making again!
27/10/2024: I've been around this place for a few years now! (A little disappointed with the cooking, the fries far too crispy for my taste, difficult to eat, impossible to prick with the fork, hence my rating of 4/5 for the cooking.) I went back recently and the cuisine was top notch, so I give all the scores 5/5! Always a pleasant atmosphere and top-notch service! Lots of choice for board games. We are always very well received there and it is a pleasure to come back every time!
